Process Overview

Overview of main tasks of the Management Challenge

The Henley MBA Management Challenge is the final piece of work required to complete this course of study. It is a research project which involves formulating a research strategy, executing, analysing and reporting on a management topic.

This process is illustrated on the right.

The first challenge in the project is to develop a problem definition that has specific scope to help direct the rest of the research. Choosing a research problem, and progressing this through to create the research objectives is the first stage in the process.

The project is supported by an academic supervisor and a sponsor who can offer additional support through the process. Managing these relationships and the expectations of the supervisor, supporter and other organisations that might be involved is part of the Management Challenge.
